The NFL returned to Los Angeles and it was awesome (Shutdown Corner)

The actual game might have lacked offensive fireworks, but the return of the Los Angeles Rams to southern California made for a pretty cool scene. Over 91,000 fans packed the Coliseum as the Rams somehow scratched out a 9-3 victory over the Seattle Seahawks — the franchise’s first in Los Angeles since Nov. 6, 1994. While the Rams may have a ways to go before becoming relevant on the field, Kevin Kaduk of Yahoo Sports said in this week’s NFL in 90 that  the simple act of moving from St. Louis to Los Angeles instantly moved one of the league’s 32 franchises to one of the bigger spotlights in the league.
