Burress May Be Suspended Indefinitely

Jason Cole, of Yahoo! Sports, reports the NFL commissioner Roger Goodell is leaning toward indefinitely suspending unrestricted free-agent WR Plaxico Burress (Giants), according to sources. Goodell is apparently upset at Burress’ refusal to accept jail time as part of his plea bargain in his felony gun trial, according to a league source.
