Commitment to Andrews gives Patriots a shot at long-term continuity on interior

By signing center David Andrews to a contract extension that will take him through 2020, the Patriots have once again given a nod to the importance of having consistency and familiarity along the offensive line. Joe Thuney is locked up through 2019 as is last year's versatile backup Ted Karras. Andrews, who has 35 games and 30 starts under his belt, is only 24 years old but is the most experienced player of the interior group.
