Lawsuits against Aaron hernandez can move forward next month

BOSTON – Aaron Hernandez was found not guilty in a 2012 double murder in the South End, but his legal troubles are far from over. While the criminal cases played out there has been a hold on any civil lawsuits against the former New England Patriots player. That order expires at the end of the month. Hernandez is already facing a lawsuit from the mother of the Dorchester man he killed in 2013. Hernandez is serving a life sentence for that case. He may also face a lawsuit from the families of the two men he was just acquitted of killing. The families’ lawyer said he needs to discuss the case with his clients before moving forward.
