Colts Injury Update

Throughout the season, the Colts were banged up hard in their roster as many key players were placed on the IR due to season-ending injuries. Lucky for you, I have some of those players injury update:

RB Vick Ballard rehab on his torn ACL has been going good so far and he believes that he will be ready by OTAs.

CB Greg Toler will have surgery on his groin injury (Groin Tear). The expected timeline for recovery is four weeks. In other words, he should be fine for offseason workouts.

TE Dwayne Allen is hopeful that he will be ready for OTAs after missing all season with a hip injury. He assumes that he will be ready for training camp as well. Colts management will closely monitor his progress and will decide if he is ready throughout the offseason.

WR Reggie Wayne has been doing fine on his rehab due to a torn ACL. Wayne stated on his weekly radio show that on January 25th, he will start running again. Remember, late October Wayne tore his ACL so it shows his fast progress on trying to heal from the injury.
