Greg Toler Is Optimistic That He Will Play On Sunday

Greg Toler isn’t a shutdown corner by any means. However, he is a quality corner that can be useful in a defense. Toler hasn’t played in a game for the Colts since the thriller game when the Colts defeated the heavily favorite Denver Broncos.

Since that game, Toler has been dealing with a groin injury that has lingered even into practice. Toler hasn’t had a full practice since Broncos game but he feels that on Sunday will be the game where he will return opposite of corner Vontae Davis.

According to Stephen Holder of, Greg Toler “thinks this is the week” where he will return the lineup and hopefully stop a recent dangerous Chiefs offense.

Even though he missed yesterday’s practice, coach Chuck Pagano stated during Friday’s press conference that the reason they shutdown Toler’s Thursday practice was precautionary and it wasn’t related to Toler’s injury via Mike Chappell of

Toler had a limited practice on Friday and is considered questionable (Injury Report will be posted later today) for Sunday’s matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs.
