Early Look at Possible 2014 NFL Salary Cap Casualties

Parity around the National Football League has enabled a vast majority of teams to focus on the year at hand for much longer than we saw in the past. With that said, every single team around the league is keeping an eye to what promises to be an exciting offseason. NFL released its likely salary cap for the 2014 season, which look to include a minimal three percent increase in cap room. This means teams like the Washington Redskins, Dallas Cowboys and Atlanta Falcons will have some major shedding to do in order to even get down to the cap. Other teams will look to lower their cap number by simply releasing high-price veterans who are not performing up to par.
