Colts LaVon Brazill misses practice, expects to play on Sunday

Colts WR LaVon Brazill had a breakout game this past Sunday as he caught 3 passes for 53 yards with two touchdowns. It seems that maybe the Colts wide receiving situation was partially cured as WR Da’Rick Rogers also had a break out game as well. However, it seems that Brazill may have injured his foot against the Bengals. Brazill has missed practice two days in a row which in a way could be a good thing so he can rest his injured foot.

Brazill still is optimistic that he will be on the field this Sunday when the Texans face the Colts at Indianapolis. According to Mike Chappell of IndyStar.com, “colts LaVon Brazill: “I should be out there Sunday.” Suffered bruised right foot Sunday at Cincy. Hasn’t practiced this week.”

It looks like the injury is just minor and the Colts are just taking extra precaution because the Colts need a healthy WR corps going into a division game against the Texans.

Hopefully Brazill is healthy enough for the game as he already earned himself some more playing time on Sunday as Chuck Pagano expressed this week at one of his press conferences. The Colts need to perform better on the offensive side of the ball in the beginning of the game and not having their breakout wide receiver can hinder that goal.
