Week 14 Fantasy Sleepers

Are you struggling with match-up decisions or dealing with an injury-depleted roster? Here are my sleeper picks worthy of starting for your team this week.

BYE: NONE

Texans vs Jaguars: Garrett Graham; The Jaguars defense is no longer the cake match-up it used to be earlier in the season, but they still struggle against TEs (30th in the league) and Graham continues to lead the Texans in targets.

Bills vs Buccaneers: Marquise Goodwin; Feel free to continue testing the No. 2 receiver theory against the Bucs.

Vikings vs Ravens: Ravens D/ST; The possibility of Matt Cassel at quarterback makes for an intriguing D/ST play.

Browns vs Patriots: Julian Edelman; With Aaron Dobson and Kenbrell Thompkins both on the mend, you’re hoping Joe Haden decides to match up against Danny Amendola and allow Edelman to continue playing like he has over the past two games.

Colts vs Bengals: Andy Dalton; Match-up dependent QB playing against a Colts defense that’s given up TDs to the position in all but two games this season.

Lions vs Eagles: Nate Burleson; I’m sure the week after Burleson lays an egg for my fantasy team, he’s going to put up solid WR3 numbers against the worst pass defense in the league.

Falcons vs Packers: Roddy White; If last week against the Bills was any indication, White could be coming alive at just the right time and a sneaky WR1 heading into the playoffs if you’ve been patient enough to stash him on your bench.

Chiefs vs Redskins: Anthony Fasano; Three TDs in his last three games? Total yards can be problematic but seeing as the Redskins just gave up 5 catches for 61 yards and a TD to Brandon Myers last week, feel confident rolling with Fasano.

Dolphins vs Steelers: Brian Hartline; Heavily-targeted (8.4 per game) and playing against a Steelers secondary that’s been on the downswing of late.

Raiders vs Jets: Raiders D/ST; Two words: Bad Geno. Welcome to the new Jaguars.

Titans vs Broncos: Kendall Wright; Steady as he goes against a Broncos secondary that struggles against slot receivers.

Giants vs Chargers: Ladarius Green; If you’re worried about Green’s usage as the No. 2 TE, he played 61 of 67 snaps compared to Antonio Gates’ 62 last week against the Bengals. Green is the now and future of the Chargers TEs. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.

Seahawks vs 49ers: Doug Baldwin; With Percy Harvin struggling to find his way onto the field, Doug Baldwin continues to carve out a consistent role on the Seahawks offense, averaging 73 yards and hauling in 3 TDs over the past 4 games.

Rams vs Cardinals: Jared Cook; The Cardinals are terrible against the position and are ranked dead-last in keeping TEs out of the end zone (14 TDs on the year). If you’ve survived this long with Jared Cook as your TE, hopefully he recreates the Week 1 magic that got you worked up in the first place.

Panthers vs Saints: Saints D/ST; You think the Saints are a little angry about being embarrassed on national TV? Dial it up, Rob.

Cowboys vs Bears: Martellus Bennett; Bennett’s season has been Jared Cook-like, but he has a great match-up playing against a Cowboys team that allows the 6th-most points to TEs.

Always remember: Start your studs, play the match-ups, and don’t be afraid to make the trade!
