Colts Week 13: Richardson benched, Brown starting

Looks like the Colts are trying to shake up the roster and they did that by changing the running back position. According to Mike Silver of the NFL Network, Trent Richardson will be benched while Donald Brown will start against the Titans on Sunday. A move that probably the Colts wouldn’t had intended of making when they made the trade on September.

Also the offensive line was shaken up today as OG Mike McGlynn has been benched and OG Jeff Linkenbach will start over McGlynn via Kevin Bowen of Colts.com. McGlynn has been ineffective as a guard dating back last season. Linkenbach has been a little bit better but he hasn’t been a huge upgrade.

Also via Phil Richards of Indystar.com, CB Darius Butler will start over CB Greg Toler who is inactive due to a groin injury. Lets see if the Colts secondary can stop letting big plays both in the run game and pass game.

Inactives for Sunday’s game via Mike Chappell of Indystar.com:

CB Josh Gordy, CB Greg Toler, TE Weslye Saunders, ILB Kavell Conner, OLB Cam Johnson, OL Khaled Holmes, DL Montori Hughes.
