Colts Week 7: Injury Update

Looks like the Colts will have a lot of healthy players on Sunday. After a brutal loss on the road, the Colts need to rebound (most people don’t think they will) and win at home against the Broncos. At least on Sunday’s game, the Colts will have a lot of healthy players that were previously injured.

Injury Update from Kevin Bowen of Colts.com:

Out: OLB Bjoern Werner (torn plantar fascia).

Probable: ILB Jerrell Freeman, S LaRon Landry, S Delano Howell.

Questionable: ILB Kelvin Sheppard and CB Darius Butler.

Game-time decision: ILB Kelvin Sheppard (hamstring).

Quotes by Colts head coach Chuck Pagano:

Pagano on Freeman and Landry coming back and playing on Sunday, “You’re going to need as much speed and athleticism as you can possibly get on the field.”

Pagano on Wes Welker as a slot WR: “One of the best ever to play out of the slot.”

Pagano on being the underdog on SNF: “Just another week in life as the Colts.”

Quote by safety LaRon Landry:

Landry on how to handle Peyton Manning: “the Colts secondary can’t let Manning dictate what they do, secondary “must create” and make Peyton play off the secondary.”
