Two Former Colts Players To Join Colts Ring of Honor


Two former Colts running backs have now joined the Colts Ring of Honor. According to ESPN’s Mike Wells, both of those players are former Colts RB Marshall Faulk and former Colts RB Eric Dickerson.

Both will join former Colts owner Robert Irsay, former Colts head coach Tony Dungy, former Colts QB and now head coach of the 49ers Jim Harbaugh, former Colts OL Chris Hinton, former Colts WR Marvin Harrison, former Colts RB Edgerrin James, former Colts head coach Ted Marchibroda, former Colts WR Bill Brooks and of course the 12th Man in the Colts Ring of Honor.

Faulk is a former number two overall pick in the 1994 NFL Draft. Faulk rushed for 5,320 yards and 42 touchdowns during his time at Indianapolis.

Dickerson is a former number two overall pick in the 1983 NFL Draft. Dickerson rushed for 5,194 yards and 32 touchdowns during his time at Indianapolis.

Both players will join the Colts Ring of Honor at the December 15th game which will be a divisional game involving the Texans and the Colts at Indianapolis.

There was some good news for the city of the Indianapolis which was overshadowed yesterday. Indianapolis, New Orleans, and Minneapolis are the cities that are bidding to be the host of the 2018 Super Bowl. According to many people, Indianapolis was successful as a host during the 2012 Super Bowl therefore another Super Bowl for the city of Indianapolis could happen.
