Detroit Lions are Breaking Good

The Detroit Lions take their 3-1 record to Lambeau Field this Sunday to take on the 1-2 Green Bay Packers.  The Packers are coming off their bye week, which has head coach Mike McCarthy 6-1 in games after the bye week.  The Lions have not won in Green Bay since 1991!  In fact the Lions have never won in Green Bay after Brett Favre started taking snaps on the frozen tundra known as Lambeau Field.

Lions are winless in Green Bay since 1991

In fact the last time the Lions won in GreenBay the Packers weren’t even playing their home games at Lambeau field.  The Lions last beat Green Bay at Milwaukee County Stadium where the design of the stadium had both teams on the same sideline!

Earlier this season the Detroit Lions broke a streak at Washington that had the Lions never beating the Redskins in Washington……EVER!  Before this season the Detroit Lions had not beat the Washington Redskins since they were in Boston.

If the Detroit Lions are able to pull off an upset in Green Bay this weekend the Detroit Lions will be officially Breaking Good.

After the Lions play in Green Bay this weekend the schedule lets up a little.  the Lions will have Cleveland next week and still have three winless teams (Steelers, Giants, Bucaneers) left to play on their schedule.
