The Year of the Quarterback Continued…

If Week 1 was any indication the NFL has moved even further away from the running game. If the early slate for Week 2 is any indication, it may not be going back to the ground game anytime soon.

A total of six quarterbacks have tallied a minimum of 200 yards in the first half of 1 PM ET games.

Matt Ryan has completed 19-of-26 passes for 237 yards and two scores in the Atlanta Falcons 24-3 halftime lead over the St. Louis Rams.

Aaron Rodgers has put up a ridiculous 335 yards and three scores in the Green Bay Packers 24-0 lead over the Washington Redskins.

Both Andrew Luck and Ryan Tannehill have netted over 200 yards in a score in a 17-17 game between the Indianapolis Colts and Miami Dolphins.

As they get going in the third quarter in Philadelphia, both Philip Rivers and Michael Vick have put up 200 passing yards in a 13-10 San Diego Chargers lead over the Philadelphia Eagles.

Chris Johnson and Matt Forte are the only two running backs who currently have 70-plus yards on the ground.

Welcome to the passing league, times 200.
