The Detroit Lions and Buffalo Bills made an under the radar trade this week. The Lions acquired linebacker Chris White while the Bills picked up fourth string quarterback and future cut Thaddeus Lewis. That explains why it was under the radar.
The Bills should have went strong and made a move to bring in one of the Lions other quaterback back ups. The Lions have depth at quaterback with Shaun Hill and Kellen Moore. Both look very sharp in the preseason. Kellen Moore lost 2 games in his entire Boise State career. Not to mention veteran Shaun Hill has a winning record in the NFL as a starter.
Maybe the next team in line should be the division rival New York Jets. It’s well documented the disaster they have right now at quarterback. It may even save Rex Ryan’s Job.
