Easy to say the Vikings will be considered the winners of the draft with 3 1st round picks, and typical New England fashion they get more picks. The Vikings are going heavy into this season filling needs left and right in the draft so far this year. The trade up for soon is a good move, but with Patterson, Allen, Hunter, and Te’o on the board they could have waited for the 2nd round and land an immediate impact starter to their team and would not of had to give up as many picks. WR Cordarrelle Patterson

Patterson is an burner that can take coverage over the top. He does a great job in space with the ball. He can change direction very well. He needs to learn how to run more crisp routes and the route tree. Patterson is a boom or a bust prospect that has limited playing time against top competition. He lets the ball into his body too often and does not have the strongest of hands. With his potential and having Jennings as a mentor Patterson has the tools to succeed.
