Broncos re-sign CB Carter

The Denver Broncos have resigned cornerback Tony Carter to his exclusive-rights free agent tender, which will pay Carter $715,000 in 2013. Carter appeared in 15 games for the Broncos last season, defending a team-high 12 passes and scored two defensive touchdowns. Carter allowed the fewest completed passes (27) amongst cornerbacks who were targeted more than 60 times. Carter entered the NFL in 2009 as an undrafted free agent from Florida State.
