Free Agency – Goldson and Walker out?

It seems that the San Francisco 49ers will be seeing new names on their roster heading into the 2014 season.  By the looks of it, Pro Bowl safety Dashon Goldson will   not re-sign with the reigning NFC Champs and TE Delanie Walker is also likely to go elsewhere (the Miami Dolphins — ?).   With a versatile TE like Vernon Davis on the roster, the 49ers will be  fine without Walker, but if they end up losing Goldson (it appears the Eagles are the front runners to land the safety — at 5 years around $41 million), this will be the first time all defensive starters won’t be on the roster since Jim Harbaugh took over as head coach.  Goldson should be San Francisco’s number one priority, but it seems they have other plans up their sleeves.  From a fans’ perspective this is disappointing, but in Harbaugh we trust, right?
