The Baltimore Ravens are believed to be among the teams interested in the services of Defensive Lineman Ricky Jean Francois. Baltimore ranked an uncharacteristic 20th in Rushing Yards allowed last season, and fixing the run defense is GM Ozzie Newsome’s top priority this offseason. Francois, who was drafted in the 7th round out of LSU, is capable of playing any position in a 3-4 front. This deal would not fully address the Raven’s need at Nose Tackle, but Francois would be able to contribute as a key rotational player, especially to spell the disappointing Terrance Cody. Look for the Ravens to target an additional Nose Tackle in this years deep defensive line class.
