Last offseason Cowboys’ cornerback Brandon Carr signed a five-year, $50.1 million free agent deal. This offseason Carr has restructured his deal to save the Cowboys some salary cap space in order to bring in some more free agents. Carr’s new deal converted the majority of his $14.3 million 2013 salary into a signing bonus. Carr will be paid $715,000 in 2013 and his new signing bonus will be spread out over the remainder of his contract.
