PFC Rookie Blog: FB Chris Fenelon Stony Brook University

My week has been pretty routine as its been the last two months. Mondays Wednesdays and Fridays I drive 40 minutes from Queens to my trainer Britton Kelley at his facility in Hauppauge.

I eat 3-4 eggs with turkey and cheese and 3 packets of oatmeal for breakfast. I train with Britton from 10-12 and I drive an another 20 minutes east to lift at my school. I try to pack two meals in the morning to have with me throughout the day bc I won’t be back home until 8:00pm bc I work in the weight room after I lift. I eat before and after my lift.

My diet is tough to maintain because I have to manage when I eat and I have to plan out my meals. I try to eat 5 meals a day and I drink protein shakes or eat protein bars in between meals.

I had to lose weight to get leaned out but now I’m trying to maintain or gain weight. I burn a lot of calories a day. I lift 4 times a week and I run with Britton 3x a week and I do fieldwork 3x a week as well. It’s tough to find the time to replace those calories but it is a necessity.

As far as the NFL goes I think I am well on my way to being physically ready to play at the next level. I am never satisfied and I always try to push myself harder because I want to become the best athlete that my body will allow me to be.

I love watching Vonta leach for the ravens play. He plays nasty with reckless abandon. He is always the hammer and never the nail. As much as I love Vonta leach I think my game is closer to Delanie Walkers of the 49ers bc he is extremely versatile as I was in the Stony Brook offense.
