The Buffalo Bills just announced at a press conference at One Bills Drive that
Doug Marrone will be the next head coach. Marrone was recently the head coach
at Syracuse University where he turned a football program around that was at its
lowest point in program history. Although he had a .500 record (25-25) while at
Syracuse, he had two winning season and played in two bowl games.

Marrone has plenty NFL experience with the Jets and Saints. During the
interview process the Bill mentioned that they had met with Marrone five times.
As mentioned in the press conference, he will not be calling the plays on either
side of the ball but all final decision will be determined by him. The thing
that stood out the most was when he said, “Right from the beginning, this is
where I wanted to be”. It was rumored that he had did extensive research on
all teams that were interested in him. This statement by Marrone is very
important for all Bills players, coaches and fans alike, we wanted change and
this is where it has to start.
