Vontaze Burfict has been said to be a “violent backer” and a backer that “plays out of control at times”. Also a guy thats very outspoken and wild off the field. This guy waited for a teammate in the locker room and fought with him and also head butted a player in a game against Oregon State. Why does it makes sense that he goes to the Ravens ? The Ravens year in and year out have one of the best defenses in the league and they are not scared to take chances on defensive draft picks. Terrel Suggs also from Arizona State was taken by the Ravens in 2003 with the 10th pick in the draft. Suggs was originally a top 3 pick but fell out of favor. You also have to look at an aging Ray Lewis who also has to fit into the “violent backer” category and can only think he’ll be the perfect mentor for Burfict.
