Trading Chads

By PFC Dolphins Writer Ricky Bartle

If an 0-3 start wasn’t tough for the defending AFC East Champs, it is about to get tougher. Chad Pennington, who left the loss to San Diego early, appears to be lost for the season. Chad suffered an undisclosed shoulder injury on Sunday, but on Monday team sources revealed to ESPN’s Chris Mortenson that Chad suffered a torn capsule in his throwing shoulder, an injury that is expected to cost him the rest of the 2009 season. Pennington out puts the pressure on Henne, swapping Chads the Dolphins will now see if the former second round pick is the future of the Dolphins. A tough start to the season just got tougher.
