Favre Holding Out For More Money?

Charley Walters, of the Pioneer Press, reports the longer the Minnesota Vikings take to announce the signing of free-agent QB Brett Favre (Jets), the more money appears to be the holdup in negotiations. The team plans to put single-game tickets on sale next week. Favre’s agent, Bus Cook, obviously knows that, and also knows if or when Favre’s signing is announced, the Vikings will reap boatloads of new money in ticket and apparel sales. Cook and Favre have enough leverage to extract at least a $10 million deal for the upcoming season, assuming Favre remains healthy.
