Vinatieri Undergoes Hip Surgery

Indianapolis Colts PK Adam Vinatieri (hip) underwent surgery on his right hip to relieve nagging discomfort. The condition existed for more than a year, but recently became more bothersome. The surgery is not expected to cause any problems regarding Vinatieri’s availability for the 2009 season.
