Boldin Open To Staying In Arizona

Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Anquan Boldin has changed his mind and wouldn’t mind being a Cardinal in ’09 and beyond. Boldin remains receptive to a trade, but the NFL Network reports that he is now open to staying in Arizona with a long-term contract extension. Boldin had previously said he would leave his current team after his deal ends in 2010, but with Drew Rosenhaus speaking for Boldin, it’s been made clear to Cardinals general manager Rod Graves that both sides could potentially come to an agreement. Rosenhaus and Graves met for a while at the NFL Combine in Indianapolis to discuss Boldin’s future, although a specific deal reportedly wasn’t mentioned. Several teams are expected to be interested in trading for Boldin’s services, including the New York Giants and Philadelphia Eagles.
