Chiefs Hire Haley

Todd Haley has been hired as coach of the Kansas City Chiefs after helping the Arizona Cardinals reach the Super Bowl. The decision was confirmed to The Associated Press on Friday by a person familiar with the hiring. The person spoke on condition of anonymity because the announcement was pending. Haley was the offensive coordinator of the Cardinals. He takes over a team that went 2-14 under coach Herm Edwards and hasn’t won a playoff game since the 1993 season. Edwards lost all but two of his last 25 games. Kurt Warner may now list the Cardinals and the Chiefs as the only two teams that he will play for this season now.
