Chiefs Reportedly Hire Pioli As New GM

Sources have told ESPN that the Chiefs have a new general manager: Scott Pioli, the vice president for player personnel for the New England Patriots. Pioli, who turns 44 in March, has assisted Patriots coach Bill Belichick with personnel decisions over the last nine years; during that time New England played in four Super Bowls, winning three. Pioli began his NFL career in 1992 in Cleveland as a pro personnel assistant under Belichick.
