Source: Broncos Set To Offer McDaniels Head Coaching Position

Sources have informed ProFootballCentral.com that the Denver Broncos are set to offer the head coaching position to New Englad Patriots offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels, as early as Sunday. McDaniels, 32 had two very impressive interviews with the Broncos and has reportedly listed the Broncos as the number 1 team that he would like to coach. This hire would definately make sense with Broncos owner Pat Bowlen. Two of the head coaches to serve under Bowlen (Dan Reeves and Shanahan) were both young and possessors of great offensive accumen, qualities McDaniels certainly has. McDaniels was scheduled to interview with the Rams in the next few days and there is no word if he will cancel this interview or hear what the Rams have to say.
