Team Signs T. Bell

Vic Lombardi, of CBS 4 Denver, reports the Denver Broncos signed free-agent RB Tatum Bell (Lions) Tuesday, Nov. 11. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Steelers Sign F. Bryant

The Pittsburgh Steelers signed free-agent CB Fernando Bryant (Patriots). Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Bryant will compete for the nickel back job with FS Anthony Madison this week.

Thomas To Have Surgery Wednesday

Adam Schefter, of NFL.com, reports New England Patriots LB Adalius Thomas (forearm) will have season-ending surgery Wednesday, Nov. 12, for his broken forearm, a league source confirmed Tuesday, Nov. 11.

L. Johnson Expected To Play Week 11

Randy Covitz, of the Kansas City Star, reports Kansas City Chiefs RB Larry Johnson returned from his one-game suspension Monday, Nov. 10, and should play in Week 11, according to head coach Herman Edwards. “Oh yeah,” Edwards replied when asked whether Johnson will play this week. “He’s doing well. He’s excited about getting going. We had a good discussion about where he’s at, what he’s trying to do. Just come in here and get ready to play and find your niche in what we’re trying to do.”

Parker Would Wear Shoulder Harness Week 11

Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin said he is hopeful RB Willie Parker (shoulder) will practice Wednesday, Nov. 12, and play Week 11. He will wear a shoulder harness in the game, should he play.

The New York Jets have released CB Justin Miller.

Warner Stays Hot As Cardinals Improve To 6-3

Arizona Cardinals QB Kurt Warner completed 32-of-42 passes for 328 yards and three touchdowns as the Cardinals prevailed over the 49ers 29-24 on Monday Night Football. Warner picked apart the 49ers’ secondary at 10.25 yards-per-attempt.
