Cromartie Does Not Start In Week 10

Mike Sullivan, of the North County Times, reports San Diego Chargers CB Antonio Cromartie (hip) did not start the team’s Week 10 game, but he played most of the game because of an injury to CB Cletis Gordon (knee).

Moss’ Fine Rescinded

NFL.com reports New England Patriots WR Randy Moss will not have to pay his $20,000 fine for criticizing officials.

Bulger Remains Starting Quarterback

Bill Coats, of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, reports St. Louis Rams QB Marc Bulger will remain the team’s starting quarterback, according to head coach Jim Haslett.

J. Williams Injured In Week 10

Mike Sullivan, of the North County Times, reports San Diego Chargers DT Jamal Williams (chest) suffered a chest injury during the team’s Week 10 game. He might miss some practice time, but he should be fine for Week 11.

Schaub Will Not Practice This Week

Megan Manfull, of the Houston Chronicle, reports Houston Texans QB Matt Schaub (knee) will not practice this week and is out for Week 11. He could miss three more weeks.

Tuiasosopo Could Take First-Team Snaps Wednesday

Oakland Raiders QB Marques Tuiasosopo could take first-team reps in practice Wednesday, Nov. 12, if QB JaMarcus Russell (knee) and QB Andrew Walter (ankle) are unable to play.

Hasselbeck Scheduled To Practice Wednesday

Seattle Seahawks coach Mike Holmgren confirmed that Matt Hasselbeck (back, legs) is expected to practice on Wednesday and start in Week 11. Seneca Wallace (groin) is scheduled to return to the bench against Arizona.

Ravens Receiver Mason Uncertain For Week 11

Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh said Monday that it’s “too early to say” whether Derrick Mason (shoulder) will be available for Week 11. “I’m hopeful,” Harbaugh said. “I would say we expect him to play, but we can’t say for sure.” Mason dislocated his shoulder in the first half in Week 10. While he played through it in the final two quarters, the arm was in a sling after the game and Harbaugh says Mason is “sore.” Mason leads the team in receiving with 46 catches and 598 yards.

Portis ’50-50′ To Play In Week 11

After Clinton Portis missed Monday’s practice, Washington Redskins coach Jim Zorn revealed that Portis has a knee sprain and put his featured back’s chances of playing in Week 11 at “50-50.” Zorn is optimistic about Portis facing Dallas, but conceded that the injury did not get better during the Week 10 bye. Zorn doesn’t expect Ladell Betts (knee) back this week, so if Portis is out Shaun Alexander and Rock Cartwright would likely share the workload.

Packers Lose MLB Barnett For Rest Of Season

Green Bay Packers coach Mike McCarthy revealed Monday that MLB Nick Barnett needs surgery to repair a torn ligament in his knee. He will be placed on injured reserve, ending his season. Desmond Bishop is next on the depth chart, but Green Bay may also explore moving AJ Hawk or Brandon Chillar to the middle with Brady Poppinga staying outside.
