Romo Returns To Practice

Todd Archer, of The Dallas Morning News, reports Dallas Cowboys QB Tony Romo (finger) returned to practice Wednesday, Nov. 5, and he is planning to start the team’s Week 11 game. Romo was wearing a new splint that essentially covers just the pinkie finger. He said the pain from wearing the splint is manageable, but he isn’t sure if he will have to wear the splint in Week 11. The Dallas signal caller plans to practice Thursday, Nov. 6, and will take the weekend off before going through a full practice schedule next week.

S. Taylor To Be Inducted In Ring Of Fame

ESPN.com reports former Washington Redskins S Sean Taylor will in inducted posthumously into the franchise’s Ring of Fame before the Nov. 30 game. He will become the 43rd name on the Ring of Fame.

Porter Says M. Jones Should Not Be Allowed To Play

The Associated Press reports Miami Dolphins LB Joey Porter said Wednesday, Nov. 5, he had no idea how Jacksonville Jaguars WR Matt Jones could still be playing despite having a felony cocaine charge against him earlier this year. Porter said, “He got caught with cocaine and Matt Jones is still playing football. How does he get away with that? And then you fine people $20,000 for making comments to the media about the refs. The guy got caught with cocaine.”
