Team To Cut Burress’ Fine In Half

Sal Paolantonio, of ESPN.com, reports the New York Giants have reached an agreement with WR Plaxico Burress to cut the financial penalty levied against him in half. Burress’ suspension for Week 5 will stand. He will be docked $117,000, his weekly pay, for the game. Burress was originally penalized $235,294 for two weeks.
