According to the Minneapolis Star Tribune, the Minnesota Vikings will start Gus Frerotte at quarterback in Sunday’s game against the Panthers. At 0-2, the Vikings face a must-win situation, and coach Brad Childress must not think Tarvaris Jackson can get the job done. Jackson completed just 30 of 59 passes for 308 yards with one touchdown and one interception in the first two games against the Packers and Colts. Jackson rushed for 66 yards and lost a fumble.
