Redskins OT Stephon Heyer Wins Starting Job

Redskins OT Stephon Heyer will start Thursday against the New York Giants in the regular-season opener at Giants Stadium. Heyer just spoke with Jason La Canfora of the Washington Post and confirmed that he will start ahead of Jon Jansen on the offensive line. Quarterback Jason Campbell acknowledged that the demotion of longtime starting right tackle Jon Jansen “is a difficult situation because of how long he’s been in there and what he’s meant to this offense,”
