Bill Williamson, of ESPN.com, reports Denver Broncos head coach Mike Shanahan said during an interview with a local radio station that “we’re not going to miss the playoffs.” Shanahan, however, softened his stance somewhat Friday, Aug. 1. “What I said is, No. 1, you have to be a little bit lucky, a little bit fortunate,” Shanahan said. “I have some high expectations for this team and hopefully we’ll get there.”
