Well here we are training camp is right around the corner! All the real football fans hearts are pumping. All hope that their clubs will do well. This is my look at the Chicago Bears Defense for 2008!

Our defensive line is going to make the rest of the league wonder. These guy’s for real no one can be that good. We’ll start with our defensive ends. Chicago is loaded at that position and all could be starters. I know this must be tough for the coaching staff. Adelwale Ogunleye, should lead this outstanding group in sacks. Tough, smart, fast as a cat. He can get the job done! I don’t know if you people realize that he changed his life style last year and it really showed in his play. Scary, to be him and be able to come out stronger and be faster then ever.

Then we have Alex Brown on the other side, and believe me he is no slouch. He should be the number 2 man with sacks. These two will play at an all pro level. They have a back up by the name of Mark Anderson who as a rookie had 12 sacks. They also have a very versatile veteran who can play end and his name is Israel Idonije. He is also a great help when needed on the inside. I would like to see any other club match up to us at this position.

Finally we get to our defensive tackles, starting with Tommie Harris. Tommie is an absolute animal in there, just ask those that play across from him. Tommie should get about 7 to 10 sacks. There aren’t many men inside that have that kind of talent. Next to Tommie will be his old college buddy Dusty Dvoracek. He got hurt the very first game last year and is itching to make his mark. I’ll tell you this, he is mean as can be, very aggressive, strong as one can be. He will definitely make Tommie a better player and that is scary. They also have a young rookie Marcus Harrison, and from all reports from the OTA’S he has the talent to succeed, and has good agility and streanght. We’ll have to see how he plays when they buckle up the Armour and start hitting live.

Chicago’s linebackers. Lance Briggs, Brian Urlacher, and Hunter Hillenmeyer. This group is probably the best that football has to offer today. All those that question Brian about his health.Let me tell you, he looks as fast as ever, and been hitting just as hard. Brain will lead the team in tackles like he does every year.

Free safety Mike Brown: If he stays healthy let me warn the NFL this defense is going to very very special. His counter part at strong safety Brandon McGowan, is now in his second year. With Mike out there, this will automatically make Brandon a better player. He’ll have a solid year at strong safety.
Our corner backs are Charles Tillman and Nathen Vasher to all pro’s. Believe me there play speaks for them. Finally our Special Teams unit will be at the top of the NFL stats. If all things work out and most the starting cast stays  healthy. This unit could be strong enough to take the bears back to the Super Bowl. Staying healthy will most likely put them back in the number one spot for defense.
I will close with this final thought. I must be the only human on this planet that can look and and analyze this Chicago unit and find some really positive things for us to look for. GO CHICAGO BEARS!
