Simms Skips Camp

Roy Cummings, of The Tampa Tribune, reports Tampa Bay Buccaneers QB Chris Simms was absent for the first day of the team’s minicamp Tuesday, June 17. Simms is expected to be fined $8,000 a day for missing the team’s workouts this week, which run through Thursday, June 19. If Simms decides to miss training camp, he will face a $14,000 fine per day.
