Javon Walker Was Robbed

Updating previous reports, Ken Ritter, of The Associated Press, reports a large amount of cash and some jewelry were taken from Oakland Raiders WR Javon Walker (eye) during a robbery in Las Vegas, in which Walker sustained significant injuries. He could be released from the hospital Tuesday, June 17.

Specter Ends Spygate Probe

ESPN.com reports Senator Arlen Specter said he will not seek any further hearings on the issue of Spygate, according to the Philadelphia Daily News. Specter intends to look into public financing of sports stadiums instead. He believes taxpayers should not foot the bill for stadium construction for NFL owners.
