Pros And Cons: Tennessee State CB Dominique Rodgers Cromartie

April 12th, 2008 · No Comments

Here are the Pros and Cons of Tennesse State cornerback Dominique Rodgers Cromartie.

By PFC Draft Writer Jonathon Zenk

Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie, CB, Tennessee State

Pros:
Rodgers-Cromartie has very good acceleration and a great closing burst. He is good at chasing down players from behind. He has great speed and is a definite playmaker. He is naturally gifted and is a very good special teams player as well, being a good return man and blocking eight kicks as well in college.

Cons: Rodgers-Cromartie is prone to picking up dumb penalties. He will need to add some weight and will need to get stronger. Obviously, when talking about lower Division I/Division II schools, the competition factor comes in to play. He gambles a bit too much. He struggles at run support. He is still raw and will need to further develop his skills in the NFL.
