Pros And Cons: Penn State Linebacker Dan Connor

April 11th, 2008 · No Comments

Here are the Pros and Cons of Penn State linebacker Dan Connor.

By PFC Draft Writer Jonathon Zenk

Dan Connor, MLB, Penn State
Pros: Connor is very good at reading quarterbacks’ eyes and has good instincts to snuff out plays. He takes good angles and when he gets there, he is also a very good tackler. Connor has pretty good speed. He is versatile, as he played both linebacker positions at Penn State. Connor is a smart player and he works hard.

Cons: Connor doesn’t have great size for the NFL. He doesn’t get off blocks consistantly and will need to get stronger. He doesn’t have great hands for interceptions. He isn’t the greatest at pass defense, but isn’t terrible at it, either.
