Here are the Pros and Cons of Michigan tackle Jake Long

By PFC Draft Writer Jonathon Zenk
Jake Long, OT, Michigan
Pros:

Long has great size and is very strong. He plays with a definite mean streak and finishes blocks. He is a great run blocker. Long is a very smart player and gets his big claws on you and it is hard to get them off. He is a team leader and he works his ass off.

Cons:

Long doesn’t have great feet, therefore, he struggles a bit as a pass blocker, and he got beaten plenty of times against fellow top ten pick Ohio State’s Vernon Gholston as well as Wisconsin’s Kirk DeCreamer. He also has minor injury concerns. Long projects as a RT in the pros.
