Leodis McKelvin is a very athletic corner who has good size and does a good job with timed speed and burst. When you look at his game film, you would have to be very impressed with his footwork and his coverage skills. One huge thing that pro scouts look at is how is his hands and McKelvin definitely has great hands.  Out of all the corners in this draft, McKelvin is the biggest player maker out of all of them and can be a very good corner and a very good kick/punt returner.

Cons

When you look at the collegiate career of Leodis McKelvin, you definitely see some flaws that may scare some teams away. One thing that fellow rookie corner Aqib Talib has over McKelvin is that Aqib has played the most elite competition while McKelvin has not. When you look at players like Randy Moss and Terrell Owens, these players are very good bumping at the line and McKelvin has shown that he has had some problems with bumping at the line. Another big flaw with McKelvin is the fact that he lets the adrenaline get to him sometimes and sometimes underestimates the play and misreads coverage which can result in a big miss play.
