Pros And Cons: Louisville QB Brian Brohm

March 25th, 2008 · No Comments

Louisville quarterback Brian Brohm is rated very highly in this years draft and could be the second quarterback off the draft board. Here are his Pros and Cons by PFC Draft Reporter Jonathon Zenk

Pros: Brohm has a good size and frame. He is very good at reading defenses, very smart and rarely makes bad choices. Brohm has good accuracy and above average arm strength. He is a hard worker and a decent athlete. Like Ryan, Brohm is very good at throwing the short passes, but is inconsistant throwing the deep balls. He has poise in the pocket and moves well in the pocket.

Cons: Like I said, Brohm is inconsistant at throwing the deep balls. Durability is a major concern as he was injured in every season since 2005. He played in a pass-happy system at Louisivlle and isn’t a dangerous threat as a runner.
