Pros And Cons: BC Quarterback Matt Ryan

March 25th, 2008 · No Comments

BC quarterback Matt Ryan is heading into the NFL draft projected as possibly the number 1 pick in the draft, here are his pros and cons.  By PFC Draft Reporter Jonathon Zenk

Pros: Ryan has a a good size as well as a very good frame. He is smart and is a natural born leader. He has a very good touch, on the shorter throws especially. Ryan has a very good work ethic and is a great competitor that will put in the work and effort to become a better player. He is great at managing the game and reading opposing defenses. Ryan is deadly accurate and very tough and plays through the pain. He has decent mobility to elude the rush.

Cons: Ryan doesn’t have tremendous arm strength and has thrown 24 interceptions in the last two years. He is also inconsistant on the deep passes and isn’t a great athlete.
