The Texans traded a sixth round draft choice to Denver today for center Chris Myers. Before making the trade, the Broncos signed Myers to a four-year, $11 million contract, including $3 million guaranteed. Myers, a third-year restricted free agent, who started 16 games last season, could have been signed to an offer sheet by the Texans. The Texans opted not go with an offer sheet because it was easier and quicker to offer the pick and execute the sign-and-trade deal.
