Trent Green Signs With Rams

Adam Schefter of NFL Network is reporting that the St. Louis Rams have agreed to terms on a contract with free agent quarterback Trent Green. This will be the second stint in St. Louis for Green, who grew up in the area. He previously spent the entire 1999 season on injured reserve for the Rams, watching the team win the Super Bowl after he was hurt in the preseason. He then started five games as Kurt Warner’s backup in 2000.
