Defensive end Ebenezer Ekuban, who missed all of last season with a ruptured Achilles tendon he suffered in the preseason, said he has agreed to return to the Denver Broncos. He is expected to sign a one-year deal worth about $1.2 million. Ekuban agreed to terms with the Broncos shortly after returning from a visit to Oakland on Saturday. The Broncos raised their offer to Ekuban and he jumped on it. Considered the team’s best defensive lineman by the coaching staff before his injury last year, Ekuban is expected to play a key role in the defense in 2008.
